Information we collect

The homepage and quote funnel collect the phone number you enter so a broker can return your call. A completed phone number may be saved as a partial quote request before you press the final continue or submit button. If you continue, we may collect your name, email address, driver and vehicle details, insurance history, requested coverage information, and other information needed to evaluate and shop the risk.

You may also upload quote-related documents, such as a driver license, TLC license, vehicle or ownership document, or base or affiliation document. Please provide only documents requested for the quote.

Attribution and browser storage

When present in your landing-page URL, we store first-touch advertising identifiers and campaign parameters such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, and UTM values in first-party local or session browser storage. We use these values to understand which campaign led to a quote request and to measure conversions. The quote flow also uses browser storage to maintain your progress and connect later steps with your request.

Analytics and technical information

We use PostHog and Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tools. These tools may collect page views, interactions, referring and landing pages, device and browser information, approximate location derived from network information, campaign identifiers, and conversion events. PostHog is configured not to receive raw phone numbers, names, or email addresses through our identification helper.

How we use it

We use information to return your requested call, continue and service your quote, communicate about the request, submit information to insurance carriers for underwriting, protect against fraud or misuse, maintain and improve the site, measure advertising, and comply with law. We do not sell your phone number as a marketing list. Quotes are estimates; the issuing carrier determines coverage, eligibility, and price.

Who we share it with

We may share information needed to quote or bind coverage with insurance carriers and their underwriting systems. Service providers that support the site may also process information on our behalf, including Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for database services, Firebase for phone verification and document storage, PostHog for product analytics, and Google for analytics and advertising measurement. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

Retention

We retain information only as reasonably needed for quote and brokerage operations, security, recordkeeping, and legal obligations. The duration depends on the type of information and why it was collected; this policy does not promise a fixed retention period.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
